UM , In some of are ways america os thee greatest country , but other then that i dont think were great , we have teenagers having babies , smoking drugs , saling drugs going to jail , gang banging how is america the best country and we doing all that , not really great if you ask me .

DeleteI totally agree with what your said about the drugs, jail and gangs but not teenage mothers. I mean, you can still be a good mother at a young age. I think the bigger issue is when the mothers can't take care of them but they keep having them and the government keeps providing welfare for them. I think they are enabling those mothers to do nothing, I sometimes wish they would put a cap on welfare benefits.

DeleteNot going to say it is the "best" country but i like it more than any other country, although because i've never been anywhere other than america, i've seen on t.v. that we're in debt alot, and from what im seeing (no improvment) it's just going to get only worse. we have equal things like freedom, but theres other things that most people arent equal with, like money, and fame.

DeleteYes, I see where you are coming from not having been to other countries, and yes, I like living in America too, but I don't know if it's the "greatest." Maybe we should all do more research. My friends have had really good things to say about France and Canada. What about countries that at least provide free health care, college and don't have as many racial issues.
DeleteI think America isn't the best country in the world. If anything I believe that China should be the best country in the world. On most of all clothing it say's Made in China. So of my belief I think China is the best country. China makes every thing (shoes, clothes, etc...).

DeleteI don't think America is the greatest country in the world. I mean, I know I have only been to Mexico outside of the U.S., however, I know that everything that happens here is not "great." We have high rates of poverty, homelessness and hunger, even for kids. We spend so much money on the military and then we close schools. There is nothing great about not giving kids what they need. In addition to that, the crime rates are rediculous. There still aren't equal opportunities for people of different races, genders, and social classes. Don't get me started on the fact that 1% of people have almost 50% of the money.

DeleteAmerica is not the greatest country. Every school i go to they tell us about how black people were slave, there are racist group too, kk klan, that still lives on today. People are not racist anymore but most are racist. "Land of the free" i believe that but there arent any thing we can do i mean if we do something we get arrested or a ticket but we didnt know. To me america is falling for the fact that most place there is alot of crime and less policemens and there is alot of people but less jobs. 3/4 of america is in low class that's not cool why not jobs for every body atleast to go to middle class.

DeleteThat's true. There are some people that are still racist. Behind me lives a racist person. And a lot of peopple don't have jobs. But one thing that I disagree on is jobs should not go to the working class but those who are very poor. They have very little money and the working class do make money while poverty people have very little or no money.

DeleteAmerica is somewhat great but at the same time its not. Only because they say we are free but at the same time were not. Only because we are all being ruled by laws and by presidents who can just change the law if they wanted to. I agree with the Anonymous we as americans and human beings should be able to control our actions in such a way that it does stop the drug violence and gang violence and such. We as americans should be able to tell the youth that what they're doing is not a great path to choose, bbut we as "americans" cant do that. So no our country is not Perfect but its not the best either.

DeleteTo me i think united states is the best country because you have rights,other countries don't have as many rights as we have in united states.Another thing is i think (i dont know what other people think) but i think there fair on jobs but you have to get an education but still i think there fair on jobs because its easy to get a job if a have an education. and the last reason is becuase i thinks most of it is nice and peacefull. i thinks its nice becuase theres alot of adventures to do and lots of nice things to see.

DeleteAmerica is not the greatest country in the world. There are many things that is not really great. There are people who have little to no money. People with too much money. If Amercia wants to be the greatest, they would spread the money so everybody can get the same amount.
ReplyDeleteThere is also descrimination about LGBT. Everyone should be treated equal. Nobody should feel like they are less than others. It's like different races but they have different sexual preferences than others. So they should be treated the same.
One more thing is the killings. Nobody wants to hide for their lives day in and day out where ever it may be. Little kids are dieing and yet they are suppose to be the hope of tomorrow but they can't if they die today. Nobody needs to die and it doesn't matter if there is a reason or not. The only time somebody needs to die is if they are really old and their time has come to die.
My mind wasn't changed. He pointed out that many countries are free so why are we special if our country is "free." I like America and it feels like my home. But also thinking about it America is rated low in good things but high in bad thing like people being put in jail.

We have all this money to pay for weapons that we spend millions on, but are in millions of dollars in debt with China that we cant pay back. We are bullies to diffrent countries. We go in their country and try to take control. We have millions of dollars to give away in the Lottery but Poverty stilll takes place in our country. America is based upon money. That is why are country is deteriating generation by generation. I have no hope for America!
